This role focuses on the bio-conjugation aspect within the Discovery Chemistry group at TalentBurst.
We are looking for a dedicated and talented Bio-conjugation Scientist to join our dynamic Discovery Chemistry Department.
The ideal candidate will be part of innovative, collaborative teams working to develop new medicines by utilizing refined conjugation methods, analytical techniques, and data interpretation to create drug candidates and their intermediates.Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.The successful candidate will be expected to quickly adapt and gain independence in reaction setup, route design, and optimization through hands-on training.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct bioconjugation of linker-payload combinations to antibodies, focusing on established in-house methodologies.Select and implement suitable purification techniques for biologics, including SEC, hydrophobic interaction chromatography, and ion exchange chromatography.Collect and analyze analytical data, such as LC/MS results.Qualifications
This position is specifically for a Bio-conjugation Scientist, and we encourage applications from candidates with relevant experience.
Educational Background:
A minimum of a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related discipline, along with relevant industrial or academic experience.
Required Experience and Skills:
Practical experience in the conjugation, purification, and characterization of antibody-drug conjugates, as well as proficiency in analytical techniques and instrumentation, including chromatographic methods such as HIC, RP, SEC, SDS-PAGE, and UV-Vis.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in biologics analytics and purification methods.
Essential Attributes:
Experience in bio-conjugation, a strong background in protein biochemistry and chemistry.
Personal Characteristics:
A collaborative team player who adheres to timelines and communicates effectively.
Note:
This is an onsite, laboratory-based position with potential for extension.
