Job Overview

The role involves supporting product and project teams by crafting, integrating, and showcasing task-oriented initiatives within a comprehensive Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) utilizing Microsoft Project and Milestone Professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed IMS for all critical activities essential to the success of the teams.
  • Present IMS data clearly and concisely, adhering to recognized schedule management techniques and processes.
  • Facilitate schedule status reviews and update meetings for team leads.
  • Conduct IMS health checks and perform what-if analyses using approved software as requested by team leads.
  • Deliver presentations related to the IMS during regular meetings and create supporting materials using Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications:

Due to the sensitive nature of the requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

Ability to secure a security clearance is required.

A Master's Degree in a relevant field plus a minimum of 4 years of applicable experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field plus 5 years of applicable experience, or an Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 13 years of experience, including at least 9 years of specialized experience, or a minimum of 15 years of scheduling experience with at least 2 years in Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) Acquisition Category (ACAT I/II) programs.

Specialized Degree Fields: Project Management, Business Management/Administration, or related fields. Relevant experience must be in Project Management, Business Management/Administration, or related fields.

A minimum of 5 consecutive years of experience within the last decade as a program scheduler, developing and maintaining schedules for complex government or commercial engineering or technical programs, preferably in ground combat vehicle systems. Experience with military acquisition programs is highly valued.

At least 5 years of experience using project management/scheduling software suites such as Microsoft Project, KIDASA Milestone Professional, Oracle Primavera, or Barbecana Full Monte, along with software that employs Monte Carlo simulation tools (e.g., @RISK).

Demonstrated participation as an active member of a process team in formulating integrated project plans, with direct responsibility for representing activities and tasks in the form of an integrated schedule.

Exhibits extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional and integrated process teams on complex activities; demonstrates strong teamwork skills.

Possesses a solid understanding of participatory leadership techniques and management fundamentals in the context of planning, developing, and managing integrated, complex project schedules.

Ability to lead and manage a team when necessary.

Skills:

Capable of analyzing technical requirements, budget constraints, management timelines, mandatory processes, and leadership directives, translating them into complex integrated project schedules.

Proficient in applying both fundamental and advanced project development techniques to create and formulate complex integrated project schedules.

Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of schedule development and management; possesses experience and competency in current schedule development tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel), schedule logic (Defense Contract Management Agency 14-point evaluation and analysis techniques), and schedule analysis tools to ensure the integrated schedules are complete, technically sound, and assessable for potential changes in timing and task content.

Familiarity with scheduling tools, including logic and analysis software, and modeling techniques related to cost and schedule.
