We are seeking a proactive and motivated Project Engineer to facilitate collaboration across various departments and ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the delivery of equipment aligns with customer specifications and the Statement of Work (SOW) for each assigned project.
  • Assist the Project Manager in organizing and overseeing all engineering tasks.
  • Lead design review sessions with both internal and external design teams and clients.
  • Develop, review, and monitor process deliverables while scheduling and conducting internal and customer reviews.
  • Oversee the review and approval of all mechanical and control designs prior to manufacturing.
  • Ensure that all As Built and Non-Conformance documentation is accurately updated based on inputs from Build and Site Supervisors.
  • Guarantee that designs are economically viable.
  • Document all project-related information for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft bid specifications for third-party vendors providing tooling and equipment that fulfill customer needs.
  • Support installation processes on the customer’s production floor as necessary.
  • Conduct customer design, build, and integration evaluations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the sold SOW and initiate Engineering Change Requests (ECR) as required.
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in automotive tooling manufacturing, particularly in areas such as automated assembly machinery, Body in White (BIW), chassis, glass, or robotic welding.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Experience with CAD models and/or familiarity with Team Center.
  • Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
