Job Summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch security services to our clients, ensuring their safety and security at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol client facilities, stations, and public areas to detect and prevent security breaches, and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas and maintain a high level of situational awareness at all times.
  • Interface with the public, providing information and assistance as needed, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Prepare and submit security reports, and provide assistance to investigators as required.
  • Participate in special enforcement unit activities, including fare inspection sweeps and passenger counts.
  • Respond effectively to all calls for assistance, and provide emergency medical care as needed.
  • Maintain a positive client brand image, and treat clients, employees, and guests with the utmost courtesy and respect.

Requirements

  • Must possess an exposed firearms permit.
  • Must possess a current guard card.
  • Must possess a CPR/First-Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens Certification.
  • Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • May be required to perform emergency duties that require physical exertion, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting, and running.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Speak, read, and write English fluently.
