We are currently seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to oversee our front office operations. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Uphold the standards of service established by AJS Hotels.
- Monitor daily reservations and manage room allocations effectively.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences and promote hotel services.
- Welcome and register guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Stay informed about room rates, packages, and promotions.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of room types, amenities, and hotel features.
- Address guest complaints with professionalism and escalate issues as necessary.
- Organize and manage front office operations, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Train and supervise front office staff to maintain service excellence.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Knowledge of the local area is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of management.
- Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
