Job Title: Procurement Commodity Lead

AdvanSix is seeking a skilled Procurement Commodity Lead to join our Corporate Services and Sustainability team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, evaluating products and services offerings, and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet stakeholder requirements
  • Evaluate and recommend suppliers based on quality, service, cost, and other criteria
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Implement and maintain supplier information across internal systems
  • Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in a timely manner
  • Ensure internal stakeholder needs are understood and communicated to suppliers
  • Support business continuity planning and continuous improvement opportunities across key suppliers and categories
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field, or relevant working experience
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or related role
  • Procurement experience across corporate services areas, with a preference on expertise with negotiating, managing contracts, and driving supplier performance related to the IT function
