Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of our galvanizing facility, ensuring that processes are both efficient and productive.
  • Formulate, implement, and evaluate operational policies and procedures aimed at boosting operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Lead and oversee a diverse operations team, promoting a culture of accountability, professional development, and teamwork.
  • Initiate employee development programs, including training, coaching, and mentoring, to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments (such as sales, logistics, and human resources) to develop integrated business plans and foster a cohesive organizational culture.
  • Work closely with maintenance personnel to ensure all equipment is operational, compliant with safety standards, and optimized for efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage production schedules to fulfill customer delivery requirements and maximize plant efficiency.
  • Regularly evaluate operations for efficiency and implement necessary adjustments to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Provide reports on operational performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure comprehensive training for new hires across various departments.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in galvanizing or fabrication is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Production Supervisor, preferably within a galvanizing or similar industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of industry safety regulations and standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, including the capacity to develop and mentor staff.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in operations management software and standard office applications (e.g., MS Office).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
