Operations Supervisor Job Description

The Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of bus operators and customers. This position requires a candidate with at least two years of experience, an active CDL, and a passenger endorsement. The ideal candidate will have open availability and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct driver field evaluations and communicate respectfully with other Dispatchers, Bus Operators, and Supervisors.
  • Assist bus operators in preparing accident reports and safety violations documents.
  • Evaluate and monitor bus operator safety and performance.
  • Assist safety personnel with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) compliance and recordkeeping.
  • Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • At least 21 years old.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required to operate vehicles at the location.
