Position Overview:
Nurses play a vital role in delivering holistic and empathetic nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team for clients dealing with Eating Disorders and related comorbid conditions in an inpatient or residential higher level of care (HLOC) environment.

Work Schedule:
This is a Full-Time position with Day coverage (On-site). The hours are from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm EST, totaling 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts that rotate on weekends and a self-scheduling option available Monday through Friday.

How Nursing Facilitates Recovery:

  • Conducts client assessments, monitoring, and interventions to address health concerns effectively.
  • Manages medication, including education, adherence assessment, administration in inpatient and residential settings, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with providers.
  • Assists medical and psychiatric providers with coordinating medical care.
  • Facilitates medical care coordination among patients, providers, staff, families, and external care agencies as necessary.
  • Acts as a resource for client medical needs and information.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an Accredited Practical Nursing Program.
  • Current LPN licensure in North Carolina or a compact state.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and authorization to drive; Active BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
