Job Overview

RI International is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our team as a Crisis Support Specialist. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to individuals in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with intake process and collect vital information from clients.
  • Collect blood or urine specimens and arrange transport to lab as ordered.
  • Monitor care of individuals, including medication management under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Oversee and maintain accurate medication records in accordance with policy and state regulations.
  • Provide support to Medical Assistants and other staff as needed, including treatment and discharge planning.
  • Deliver education on diabetic care, psychiatric medication, and other medical needs to enhance individual health and wellbeing.
  • Coordinate care, including assisting clients with making medical and/or other provider appointments as needed.
  • Complete clinical documentation as required.
  • Understand and adhere to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
  • Current and valid LPN license.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
