The primary responsibility of the Client Relations Associate is to investigate and resolve member inquiries regarding their existing policies through various communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions. This role requires providing outstanding service in a professional and courteous manner while documenting all member interactions in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Vice President of Member Services. The core working hours are structured to ensure effective service delivery.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment, preferably with a focus on life insurance, is highly desirable. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of call center operations and be familiar with CRM systems. Relevant insurance certifications are a plus.

The ideal candidate will exhibit professionalism, a strong customer focus, and meticulous attention to detail. They should demonstrate independent thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple customer demands effectively. Adaptability under pressure and a self-motivated attitude are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently navigate various systems to provide accurate responses to customer inquiries.
  2. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of life and annuity product operations, including billing, collections, and policy processes.
  3. Advise members on policy conservation strategies and manage reinstatement processes.
  4. Educate members about military benefits and the advantages of Navy Mutual membership.
  5. Enhance member relationships through effective communication and empathetic listening.
  6. Collaborate within a team to achieve shared goals and participate in cross-training initiatives.
  7. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  8. Continuously develop industry knowledge and best practices.
