Senior Associate, Real Estate Investment Accounting

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for providing and overseeing accounting and reporting functions for equity and debt real estate. The ideal candidate will have accounting expertise in real estate or other alternative investment industries.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with third-party servicers to monitor data feeds and cash remittance for commercial mortgage loan investments.
• Prepare quarterly reports and footnotes in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Collaborate with Property Managers to ensure accurate and timely submission of property financial data and support for quarterly reporting.
• Perform treasury functions, including cash reconciliations and handling wire responsibilities for operating distributions, capital distributions, and capital calls.
• Support upper-level management from Portfolio and Asset Management with day-to-day informational and support requests.

Requirements:
• Experience in public or private industry with alternative investments, real estate preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, including Investment Company Guide, is desired.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word essential, Investran and MRI experience a plus.
