Commercial Lines Business Development Manager

At Jobot, we are seeking a seasoned Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key player in our insurance brokerage, you will be responsible for managing and servicing all aspects of our commercial insurance clients' needs.
About the RoleThis is an incredible opportunity to work with a fast-paced, results-oriented group. You will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring all client service needs are met and exceeded.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and insurance requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the seamless transition of new clients.
- Review and analyze clients' existing insurance coverage and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the renewal process for all assigned clients, including preparing renewal proposals and negotiating with carriers for the best terms.
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with underwriters and adjusters to manage claims and risk management issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and products to provide the best advice and service to clients.
To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance and account management. A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management principles, excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
