POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Associate to oversee the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations. This role encompasses managing logistics, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring the timely dispatch of products and components to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Warehouse Operations Associate include, but are not limited to:

  • Inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and quality control,
  • Organizing and categorizing products and components in designated storage areas,
  • Maintaining optimal inventory levels and conducting regular stock assessments,
  • Assisting in the design of the warehouse layout to maximize efficiency and space utilization,
  • Safely operating forklifts and other equipment to transport goods,
  • Loading and unloading products from transportation vehicles,
  • Performing routine maintenance checks on equipment and reporting any issues,
  • Preparing products for shipment in accordance with customer orders,
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of shipping documentation,
  • Coordinating with carriers to manage shipping timelines and delivery schedules,
  • Addressing and resolving any shipping discrepancies or challenges,
  • Communicating with clients regarding order updates and delivery inquiries,
  • Responding to customer questions and concerns professionally,
  • Adhering to safety protocols and warehouse procedures,
  • Utilizing personal protective equipment as necessary,
  • Reporting safety hazards or incidents in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred,
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items and perform demanding tasks,
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities to manage substantial inventories,
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision,
  • Aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment,
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English,
  • Meticulous attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment,
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without restrictions,
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment preferred,
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting, particularly in shipping and receiving,
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation,
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
