Position Summary:

The Global Operations Transition Manager will play a crucial role in facilitating the seamless transition of assets from the design and construction stages to full operational capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and nurture the Operational Readiness team, ensuring that all operational elements of the readiness plans are meticulously prepared and executed for each initiative.
  • Provide strategic insights and tactical assistance for project-specific scopes, timelines, budgets, and progress monitoring, ensuring alignment with project objectives and operational safety.
  • Work in partnership with Project Readiness Managers (PRMs) worldwide, offering guidance and support to refine and implement readiness plans in conjunction with design, construction, commissioning, and site operations.
  • Establish and maintain robust working relationships with site General Managers, corporate executives, and Project Directors to align operational readiness with corporate execution and site operational goals.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, corporate standards, and regulatory changes to continually enhance the Operational Readiness program.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the strategic objectives of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, coupled with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, operations, maintenance, or construction. Alternatively, a High School Diploma with fifteen (15) years of related experience is acceptable.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in directing cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management, operational readiness processes, and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain effective working relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to effectively convey complex information.
  • Proficiency in technical Spanish and/or Bahasa Indonesia, in addition to English, is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time and up to 50% domestically to various project sites.
