Position Summary: The Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for both guests and staff. Responsibilities include managing emergency situations, conducting incident investigations, training personnel, and overseeing lost and found items according to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular surveillance and patrols of the premises.
  • Provide escort services for guests and employees upon request.
  • Engage with guests and staff in a courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding incidents involving guests and colleagues.
  • Respond promptly to all emergency calls.
  • Assist in investigating thefts, accidents, and complaints involving guests.
  • Support HR in addressing colleague disputes.
  • Document daily security activities, including thefts, accidents, and safety violations.
  • Complete incident reports by gathering observations, information, and witness statements.
  • Prevent losses by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies.
  • Evaluate risks and safety hazards throughout hotel operations.
  • Facilitate the evacuation of guests during emergencies.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
  • Understand hotel locking systems and manage the security of the key system.
  • Handle lost and found items according to company policy.
  • Safely transport guests to various locations as needed.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.

  • Physical capability to lift and carry individuals or equipment in emergencies.
  • Willingness to bend or kneel when administering First Aid.
  • Mobility is essential for responding to emergencies and patrolling.
  • Continuous standing is required during shifts.
  • Ability to navigate stairs during emergency situations.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
