The culinary specialist is essential in delivering an outstanding dining experience by expertly preparing and presenting our menu items. This role involves ensuring the safe handling and preparation of all food products, prioritizing our guests' health and safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide an exceptional guest experience by combining delicious food, refreshing drinks, and engaging games in a lively atmosphere.
Keep your supervisor informed of any significant issues or unusual occurrences and take appropriate action or suggest alternatives when necessary.
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, using all chemicals in the proper amounts for safety and cost management.
Ensure proper storage of all products at the correct levels and locations at all times.
Prepare and serve food that meets quality standards and aligns with guest expectations.
Efficiently sell food within recommended time frames to satisfy guest needs.
Adhere to recipes and specifications for all food items, controlling costs by following prep sheets to minimize waste.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all kitchen areas, including the upkeep of kitchen mats, floors, walls, and drains.
Regularly empty kitchen trash and maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles.
Support fellow team members as needed, especially during busy periods.
Foster a positive working relationship with all team members to promote a collaborative and harmonious work environment, enhancing morale and productivity.
Exhibit a friendly demeanor and maintain a positive attitude while working during various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Previous experience in a kitchen setting, whether in a hotel or restaurant, is advantageous but not mandatory.
Demonstrate effective communication skills with team members.
Be self-motivated and disciplined in your work ethic.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with dress guidelines.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
