We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team at Kettle Cuisine. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the EHS programs for our Green Bay facility, ensuring a safe, secure, and healthy work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement EHS Programs: Design, implement, and maintain effective EHS programs to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct Hazard and Risk Assessments: Identify and mitigate hazards and risks in the workplace to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Investigate Incidents and Accidents: Lead internal investigations and root cause analysis to identify causes of incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Develop and Maintain Safety Training Programs: Design and deliver training programs to ensure all employees are aware of EHS policies and procedures.
- Monitor and Report EHS Metrics: Track and report key EHS metrics, including incident rates, injury frequencies, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Leadership and Employees: Work closely with management and employees to promote a safety-first culture and ensure EHS policies and procedures are followed.
- Associate's Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Related Field: Or equivalent experience in a safety role.
- Strong Knowledge of OSHA and Regulatory Requirements: Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other relevant laws and standards.
- Experience in EHS Program Development and Implementation: Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS programs, including hazard and risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
