About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in a territory that encompasses substantial geography and has a large dollar sales volume. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for establishing strategic direction and managing daily activity of the Associate Sales Representative (ASR) and will be, in large part, responsible for the ASR's overall development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet or Exceed Sales Quotas: Assist the Territory Sales Manager in meeting or exceeding established sales quotas and specific objectives, advising customers about products, services, and educational programs.
  2. Build Customer Relationships: Build relationships with customers to increase loyalty and customer experience.
  3. Market Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales and market data and report to the Territory Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director to address customer concerns and assist in the development of territory strategy.
  4. Customer Needs Analysis: Review market analyses to determine customer needs and forecast volume potential.
  5. Education and Training: Present educational programs, such as Lunch n Learns, and plan and execute other educational events within the assigned territory.
  6. Sales Process and Solutions: Utilize the sales process to understand customer needs and facilitate providing effective treatment solutions.
  7. Order Processing and Follow-up: Facilitate order processing, returns, and follow-up as required.
  8. Trade Association and Events: Represent the company at trade association meetings or educational events to build relationships and promote products.
  9. Liaison and Coordination: Coordinate liaison activities between the sales department and other sales-related business partners.
  10. Manual and Publication Preparation: Assist other departments within the organization in the preparation of manuals and technical publications.
  11. Strategic Planning: Prepare periodic strategic plans used to forecast future sales volume, including customer breakdown by type and AER and sales potential.
  12. Proposal and Business Plan Development: Develop proposals and business plans for top customers.
  13. Compliance and Reporting: Comply with company policies and procedures, including compliance, safety, and travel and expense reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong Goal Orientation and Results-Driven: Demonstrate strong goal orientation, results-driven, highly competitive, and self-motivated with a demonstrated successful sales track record.
  • Consultative Sales Process and Training: Understand the consultative sales process and have experience with formalized sales training.
  • Hunter Mentality and Availability: Demonstrate a strong hunter mentality and be available and able to work evenings and weekends.
  • Integrity and Ethical Standards: Demonstrate integrity with high ethical standards and practices.
  • Current Driver's License and Computer Skills: Must have a current and active state-issued driver's license and be able to utilize a laptop computer with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
