Join Our Team as a Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the AC Hotel Clearwater Beach. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, registering them into the computer and verifying their reservation and credit information.
  • Accept payment for guests' accounts and maintain a house bank, making daily deposits and accurate reports of receipts.
  • Issue keys to guests and control entrance to safety deposit boxes, post miscellaneous charges as requested, and assist the concierge with handling mail and facsimiles.
  • Book reservations for guests and assist with check-out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for and handling money, processing credit and debit cards, and accepting various forms of payment.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, packages, and promotions, and answer guest questions and inquiries.
  • Field guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Requires effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to upsell guests into rooms that fit their needs.
  • Must possess basic computer skills and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle cash and balance a cash drawer required.
  • Strong team player, able to partner with management and other employees in a professional manner.
