We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Host to join our team at Mainsail Lodging & Development. As a Front Desk Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign and escort guests to rooms, taking into account their preferences and needs.
  • Assist guests with their luggage and provide room quotes and upsell opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to provide personalized recommendations to guests.
  • Collaborate with the front office team to ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes.
  • Verify charges and collect payment from guests, as needed.
  • Follow hotel policies and procedures, including those related to guest safety and security.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently around the hotel.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
