Job Title: Front Desk Representative

Evara Health is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, ensuring a smooth and timely registration process, and coordinating appointments to facilitate the efficient operation of our offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to patients, caregivers, and internal stakeholders, demonstrating a consistent application of excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Registration and Scheduling: Timely pre-register and register patients, obtaining all necessary demographic, financial, identification, and insurance documentation, and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient information.
  • Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage, determine benefits, and precertification requirements, and enter pertinent information into our electronic health record system.
  • Cash Handling and Payment Arrangements: Collect and process patient payments, assist with financial applications, and maintain accurate records of patient accounts.
  • Telehealth Support: Assist with Telehealth services, including appointment confirmations, patient registration, and Microsoft Teams support for assigned providers.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Travel to different centers for coverage, as needed, and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a front office role, and 1 year of customer service experience.
