The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government sales or business development and will oversee the sourcing and procuring of net new federal agency contracts, overseeing successful implementations, and transitioning to customer management.

  • Manage a team of account executives responsible for building partnerships with public sector organizations, including state, local, and federal government agencies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, agencies, and industry groups.
  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments to assess potential impacts on the business.
  • Represent the company in meetings, hearings, and conferences related to government affairs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to secure government contracts and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions that meet government clients' needs.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing government clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals and bids for government contracts.

About You:

  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a minimum of 5 years in people leadership.
  • Success in building public sector partnerships is required.
  • Preferred benefits/healthcare sales experience but not required.
  • Proven track record of success in selling complex solutions to government agencies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events (25%).
  • A deep passion to transform the U.S. healthcare system, especially mental health.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a thoughtful and collaborative approach to sales.
  • Entrepreneurial focus with a determination to succeed in an innovative, fast-paced environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Humility, resourcefulness, directness, ambition, extreme comfortability with change.
  • Emotional intelligence and an empathetic nature.

Total Rewards Package:

The target base salary range for this position is $208,000 - $260,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
