About the Role: We are in search of a Chief Financial Strategist who is not only highly driven but also a collaborative team player with an exceptional work ethic. This pivotal role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is tasked with overseeing and optimizing all dimensions of the finance department to align with the evolving needs of our organization.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate all operational functions within the finance department.
  • Ensure the accurate accumulation of financial data for both individual company entities and consolidated business results.
  • Prepare and coordinate internal financial statements on a weekly and monthly basis, including cash flow reports.
  • Manage treasury functions, focusing on cash flow management, working capital, and trade financing needs.
  • Oversee third-party financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Handle essential payroll and treasury management duties.
  • Evaluate current accounting operations and internal controls, providing recommendations for enhancements and implementing new processes to boost efficiency and meet regulatory standards.
  • Support staff performance management by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
  • Assist in the timely filing of corporate taxes for company entities.
  • Lead the monthly accounting cycle, including progress billings, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
  • Engage in annual strategic planning and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting processes and variance analysis.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant finance experience, accompanied by a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in financial management within the enterprise software/SaaS sector.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and regulatory requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 as it pertains to SaaS and software business models.
  • Certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and/or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in revenue generation initiatives while adhering to revenue recognition standards.
  • Robust experience in consolidating financial statements.
  • Experience managing multiple currency transactions and inter-company transactions.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, Netsuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities, with a focus on developing team skills.
