Key Responsibilities

  3. Compliance and Risk Management:

    3. Confirm that the organization maintains adequate insurance coverage and robust risk management practices.
  4. Fundraising and Development:
    1. Collaborate with the development team to identify funding opportunities and strategies for revenue diversification.
    2. Provide financial insights and support for grant applications, donor engagement, and fundraising initiatives.
    3. Assist the Development team in ensuring compliance with internal and external policies.
    4. Generate reports and analyses to aid the Development team in achieving their objectives.

Skills and Expectations
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning and execution within a non-profit context.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of non-profit accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
