Job Title: Public Service Bartender

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Public Service Bartender to join our team at the Williamsburg Inn. As a Public Service Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide bar service to guests, including serving drinks and handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Perform beginning and ending inventories, and requisition needed liquor.
  • Responsible for opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar area.
  • Collaborate with the wait staff to ensure seamless service to our guests.
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the bar.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age due to A.B.C regulations.
  • 1 year bartending experience or completion of bartending school is required.
  • Demonstrated excellent public contact skills and ability to handle money accurately.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stoop, and move loads up to 50 lbs.
  • Must meet the standards of Colonial Williamsburg Company, including maintaining a positive and enthusiastic outlook, and reporting to work on time.

Working Conditions:

The Public Service Bartender will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with guests and colleagues. The ability to multitask and work under pressure is essential.
