As a Public Area Supervisor at Great Wolf Resorts, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our public areas, while also providing coaching and support to our pack members.
A Day in the Life
- Supervise daily public area operations, ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Schedule daily assignments and projects to optimize staff utilization and ensure lodge cleanliness.
- Provide coaching, encouragement, and recognition to pack members, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop and execute action plans related to guest service and pack member engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily public area operations to ensure cleanliness and completion of daily tasks.
- Ensure all public spaces, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces are safe, clean, and organized.
- Schedule daily assignments and projects to optimize staff utilization and ensure lodge cleanliness.
- Coach and develop pack members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop and execute action plans related to guest service and pack member engagement.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback to pack members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in janitorial, laundry, housekeeping, or similar fields is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and general software systems is essential.
- Demonstrated customer service, conflict resolution, employee engagement, and team-building skills are required.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English is a must.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
As a Public Area Supervisor at Great Wolf Resorts, you can expect a competitive salary of $23.50 per hour, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, health savings accounts, and paid vacation time off.
