Job Overview

Position Summary:
As a key member of the Home Solutions team, the individual will ensure data entry precision while efficiently resolving issues. This role reports directly to the department Manager and collaborates closely with all Home Solutions personnel to deliver a variety of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
The essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing daily operations to enhance productivity.
  • Examining repair documentation to confirm the completion of repairs
    • Certifying policies when all repairs receive approval.
    • Removing non-renewal flags and pending actions as certified.
    • Conducting follow-up activities with Underwriting regarding repairs.
    • Creating activities for the Agency.
    • Drafting clear communications for policyholders when additional information is needed.
    • Alerting Advocates when follow-up calls are necessary.
  • Submitting reimbursement requests through the Accounting SharePoint system.
  • Checking the status of checks and requesting reissues for any discrepancies.
  • Managing a variety of assigned tasks with speed and accuracy.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in ImageNow and Frontline Pro software.
  • Strong command of MS Office, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to specialized software and tracking systems.
  • Capability to analyze and modify operational practices for improved efficiency.
  • Detail-oriented with a comfort level in a fast-paced office setting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities with a commitment to timely project completion.

Supervisory Role:
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. Strong organizational and task management skills are required, along with proven experience in delivering high-quality internal and external customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or GED is required; additional undergraduate education is preferred. A minimum of one year of experience or training in Property & Casualty Insurance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is desirable.

Language Proficiency:
Candidates must possess the ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos, as well as write complex correspondence. They should also be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.

Mathematical Skills:
Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, is required.

Reasoning Ability:
Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form and address problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
