Senior Project Manager

firstPRO, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Global M&A HR Portfolio team. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity, working remotely with a strong preference for candidates residing in EST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify project goals, define project scope, and establish objectives
- Develop project artifacts, including detailed work plans, project plans, project estimates, resource plans, status reports, and standard documents
- Establish project meeting cadences for various project groups and stakeholders, and conduct these meetings
- Ensure project timelines and budgets are met, proactively tracking progress, reporting status, identifying and mitigating risks, and escalating as necessary
- Monitor project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members
- Keep project team members committed, motivated, and productive throughout the project
- Encourage team collaboration and communication, embracing inclusivity in leading teams and encouraging diverse opinions
- Conduct Lessons Learned, collecting and sharing results with project team members, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and sharing with the Global M&A HR Portfolio team for areas of improvement in project management practices
Requirements:
- Proven leadership with high interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams across geographies and time zones
- Results-oriented, able to work autonomously, self-driven
- Organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, and able to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong internal stakeholder management, ability to communicate and interact with various levels of leadership
- Ability to enforce process standards while accommodating unique features of each M&A deal
- Responsive to customer needs
- Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills
