Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager

Unity Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to lead large, complex IT projects for health-related systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing project development, ensuring alignment with milestones, managing risk, and reporting on progress to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans, including requirements gathering and scope management.
  • Maintain documentation, task tracking, and defect resolution processes.
  • Ensure effective communication between stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Mentor junior PMO staff and adhere to project management and SDLC standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in IT project management, with 3+ years in large-scale applications management.
  • Certifications: PMI PMP certification required, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and matrix resource management.

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Health and Human Services Systems: Familiarity with state insurance exchanges like HIX/IES is beneficial.
  • Technical Tools: Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and other project management tools.
