Position Overview:
As a Project Supervisor specializing in Commercial Construction and Tenant Improvements, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. Your expertise will ensure that projects are executed efficiently, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Taking full ownership of projects, ensuring quality deliverables and timely completion while meeting client expectations.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor in line with industry standards.
  • Fostering a collaborative environment among all project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and property managers.
  • Communicating effectively through both written and verbal channels to all levels of stakeholders.
  • Promoting a positive, solution-oriented attitude, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with all parties involved in the project.
  • Ensuring compliance with building regulations and maintaining a clean, organized worksite.

Safety Management:
Your commitment to safety will include:

  • Understanding and enforcing the company's safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintaining up-to-date First Aid/CPR certifications and obtaining OSHA 10 certification.

Project Coordination:
Key tasks will involve:

  • Reviewing project layouts and identifying potential conflicts prior to commencement.
  • Coordinating daily activities among various subcontractors to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Developing and maintaining a Two Week Look Ahead schedule for project management.
  • Tracking materials and equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered on schedule and ready for client occupancy.

Quality Assurance:
To maintain high standards, you will:

  • Review all contract documents thoroughly to ensure compliance.
  • Identify and address quality deficiencies promptly.
  • Create and manage a punch list to ensure all items are completed before final walkthroughs.
  • Document project progress through Daily Field Reports and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Supervisor in commercial construction.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and methods.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Additional Requirements:
This position may require:

  • Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to walk the project site multiple times a day.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Eligibility for employment without sponsorship.
