Key Responsibilities:
The Lead Financial Strategist will be tasked with creating precise, timely, and thorough financial reports and models that aid in management decision-making, alongside offering recommendations and analyses on both strategic and operational matters.

  • Generate and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that illuminate daily operations and end-of-period outcomes.
  • Assist in constructing the model and supporting processes to enable comprehensive variance discussions concerning financial and operational outcomes.
  • Conduct and document intricate ad hoc financial evaluations.
  • Report essential company metrics and analyses in comparison to industry peers.
  • Maintain current and precise documentation for planning and forecasting assumptions and calculations.
  • Prepare and develop monthly, as well as ad hoc, financial and business-related analyses and research in areas such as financial performance, expense management, costing, and budgeting.
  • Contribute to the formulation of long-term financial forecasts, financial segments of the annual strategic plan, and associated budgets.
  • Support the preparation of presentations for the board, investor relations, and other necessary presentations.
  • Collaborate with accounting to process and compare actual results against budgeted figures.
  • Ensure the accuracy of analyses and adherence to all standards and processes.
  • Engage with the Finance team on various special projects and initiatives.
  • Prepare statistical studies and economic forecasts of business trends, drawing relevant conclusions.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, showcasing strong analytical, planning, and organizational capabilities.

Additional Skills:
Proficiency in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and a solid grasp of corporate finance principles. A keen attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy is essential. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting practices and standard internal accounting control procedures is required. A demonstrated mindset for continuous improvement is vital. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities are necessary. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of efficiently managing projects and key deliverables under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. The ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external partners to enhance performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results is crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/financial systems is expected.
