About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer Associate to join our team at Lennar Homes. As a key member of our lending team, you will assist Loan Officers in developing skills and knowledge to become a Loan Officer in the future.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in formal training programs to develop skills in lending, including understanding different types of loans, assessing creditworthiness, and navigating the loan approval process.
  • Assist Loan Officers with operational and hands-on training, including reviewing daily/weekly/monthly reports to learn the overall mortgage process from application to closing.
  • Support and coordinate with Loan Officers and Division Managers to ensure seamless loan processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with builders and realtors through participation in local marketing campaigns.
  • Act as a primary contact between borrowers and Loan Officers, ensuring prompt responses to customer inquiries and resolving any follow-up issues.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; BA or BS preferred.
  • Mortgage or banking experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish highly preferred.

Physical and Office/ Site Presence Requirements

Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds.
