Manufacturing Supervisor

Staffing Ninja is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily operations and drive continuous improvement in our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, and for leading by example in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure that all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies are followed and up-to-date.
    • Address any non-compliance issues promptly and effectively.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Manage daily routines and efficiently assign tasks to personnel to ensure smooth operations.
    • Coordinate with team members to ensure that production goals are met and exceeded.
  • Safety and Quality:
    • Investigate, report, and document all accidents and near-misses.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, quality control, and safety metrics.
    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of waste.
  • Training and Development:
    • Train employees on current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), SOPs, and other company and regulatory guidelines.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
  • Performance Management:
    • Evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Manage process equipment and ensure adherence to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost standards.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Engage with team leaders and employees to enhance processes and performance.
    • Review and update SOPs to ensure they are current and effective.
    • Support employee suggestions for improvement.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Apply rapid problem-solving techniques to address issues related to productivity and compliance.
    • Develop and implement solutions to improve operations and reduce waste.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5-8 years in a professional setting.
    • At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Leadership:
    • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Regulatory Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and medical device GMPs.
    • Experience with Quality Systems and regulatory compliance.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred.
