Call Center Agent Overview

As a Call Center Agent, your primary responsibility will be to handle incoming calls from customers wishing to place orders, address inquiries, manage complaints, troubleshoot significant customer service issues, and provide general information. You will serve as a key contact for consumers interested in our product offerings, assisting them in completing purchases both online and via phone. Additionally, you will inform customers about product terms and features while projecting a professional image of the company through both voice and online interactions.

Position: Customer Service Specialist / Henderson Glass

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a customer service professional who possesses strong verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate should have proficient computer skills and the ability to take direction while thriving in a fast-paced environment. Delivering the highest level of customer service, especially in high-stress situations, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls from customers, policyholders, and insurance agents, attentively listening to their needs and concerns.
  • Collect information to assess damage for repair, replacement, or recalibration services. Verify insurance coverage, establish claims, and schedule appointments.
  • Communicate and resolve issues with empathy and patience.
  • Utilize various computer-based systems to enter data quickly and accurately in real-time.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate a computer and telephone system while seated for extended periods.
  • Availability to work one weekend day per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Familiarity with using multiple computer-based systems simultaneously.
