As a Senior Financial Advisor & Planner, you will provide support to Empower's Personal Wealth investment clientele on a diverse array of financial topics, particularly those enrolled in the Personal Strategy managed asset program.

This position serves as the primary contact for a designated group of clients (no prospecting required) within the mass affluent segment (Individual Client AUM ranging from $250k to $1m), ensuring an exceptional client experience. You will proactively drive financial planning and guidance, remain responsive to client needs, and effectively communicate portfolio strategies.

Success in this role is evaluated through various metrics, including client satisfaction, retention rates, wallet share growth, and client referrals, with a strong emphasis on client loyalty and contentment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a superior level of service to Empower Personal Wealth clients, focusing on asset retention and growth through proactive communication and education.
  • Manage client relationships through phone, email, and in-person interactions, addressing both proactive and reactive needs.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and various internal departments to enhance client service.
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning across a wide range of topics, including retirement, savings, and education planning, and collaborate with specialists on complex issues as needed.
  • Coordinate with operational teams to resolve client-related administrative matters.
  • Possibly assist in training new Financial Advisors and conducting presentations for client groups nationwide.

Qualifications

  • FINRA Series 65 or equivalent certification is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of current investment products and industry services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning across various topics.
  • Proven success in relationship management and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to clearly articulate the 'Personal Strategy' investment approach and engage in discussions regarding portfolios, markets, and economic trends.
  • Experience managing a client portfolio with a focus on high-net-worth communication in the investment advisory sector.
  • A college degree or extensive industry experience is required.
  • Must maintain a clean U4 record; FINRA fingerprinting is required.

Base Salary Range

$63,000 - $89,125. The salary range reflects the typical minimum to maximum base salary for this position. Non-sales roles may participate in a bonus program, while sales positions may be eligible for additional incentives based on performance. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
