Job Summary

Sigma Design is seeking an experienced Shipyard Project Coordinator to join their team in Seattle, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing ship repair projects, ensuring timely and profitable results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate with customers, contract administrators, and craft workers to ensure project completion
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and resolve production issues
  • Manage project costs and ensure compliance with established budgets
  • Develop and recommend work standards, production schedules, and quality requirements
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in ship repair and production management
  • Bachelor's degree in marine engineering, naval architecture, or related field
  • Knowledge of marine-related equipment, ship repair techniques, and safety practices
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Environment
