Sensory Research Specialist

Full-time Position

Collaborate with the sensory team to conduct sensory research testing and training, providing insights that guide successful product development in food and beverages.

Project Management/Facility Oversight: Work alongside Sensory and FC&A teams on the logistics and execution of internal testing. Adhere to established protocols, anticipate challenges, and recommend improvements for sensory testing. Support both internal and external training initiatives. Manage procurement of supplies and samples. Ensure a safe and high-quality laboratory environment.

Data Management: Ensure the logistics of testing sessions are meticulously followed. Prepare and serve evaluation samples while troubleshooting issues during tests, including computer system challenges. Maintain the database of panelists.

System Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in various software and systems (Google Drive, Microsoft Office). Ability to learn and utilize Givaudan's internal systems and software for data collection.

  • Knowledge of sensory science is advantageous, though not mandatory
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (e.g., standing for extended periods, setting up equipment)
