About the Position

Dexis Consulting Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Democracy and Governance Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our research and evaluation team, you will work closely with our experts to design and implement studies, evaluations, and research projects that promote democracy, human rights, and good governance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in democracy and governance, with a proven track record of leading and participating in research and evaluation projects. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise, supporting team members, and ensuring the high-quality delivery of products and final reports.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise on democracy and governance topics, including research, evaluation, and learning activities.
  • Support team leads and other team members in the design and implementation of research and evaluation projects.
  • Ensure the high-quality delivery of products and final reports, including draft and final reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals, work plans, and other project documents.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects and the achievement of project objectives.
Qualifications
  • A Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as democracy and governance, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in democracy and governance, with a strong background in research and evaluation.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical research for a practitioner audience.
  • Proven experience using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • A commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive work and learning environment.
