National Maritime Logistics Trainee

Are you ready to embark on a professional journey with a leading logistics organization? At Kuehne+Nagel, we are seeking a dedicated National Maritime Logistics Trainee to join our Sea Logistics division.
YOUR ROLE
As a key member of our team, you will report to the National Sea Logistics Training Manager and gain invaluable insights into the Supply Chain and Logistics sector through practical experience. This internship offers a unique chance to engage in daily operations, enhancing your professional development. The position is designed for a one-year term, where you will assist the National Training Team with training initiatives and administrative tasks, as well as contribute to the creation of training materials aimed at improving the efficiency of Sea Logistics Training.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and announce training schedules while tracking attendance through Corporate Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Facilitate live training sessions for designated groups and document inquiries and concerns for trainers to address.
- Maintain departmental web pages and assist the team with web-related projects.
- Design, develop, and manage multimedia visual aids and presentations for the training library.
- Assist the Regional Training Team in effective curriculum development.
- Help design training surveys to gather feedback from participants and provide analytics to enhance training effectiveness.
- Support the National Training Manager in defining and measuring success metrics while monitoring progress.
- Assist in testing and analyzing different platforms for potential integration into training programs.
- Collaborate with the National Systems, Process, and Training Team, as well as internal stakeholders, to identify training needs across the Sea Logistics Business Unit.
- Contribute to the analysis of training effectiveness and recommend necessary modifications.
- Research and gather innovative ideas to enhance Sea Logistics Training development.
- Participate in departmental meetings and workshops to discuss business process issues and contribute as a team member.
- Stay updated on changes in processes, policies, and regulations within the Sea Logistics Business Unit to support training development.
- Minimum of 1 year of training experience.
- At least 1 year of industry experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
