Licensed Practical Nurse - Occupational Health

COMPANY:

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the District of Columbia
- Proven experience in a clinical office environment
- Strong foundational clinical skills
- Quick adaptability to new clinical techniques
- Collaborative team member with a compassionate approach and meticulous attention to detail

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing examination rooms and assisting patients
- Documenting patient histories and measuring vital signs
- Administering injections, immunizations, infusions, and allergy treatments
- Performing phlebotomy
- Supporting physicians during medical procedures
- Educating patients on health-related topics
- Collecting specimens and conducting basic laboratory tests (e.g., influenza, strep)
- Executing diagnostic tests/procedures (e.g., spirometry, EKG, vision assessments)
- Inputting patient data into electronic medical records (EMR)
