Descripción
Este puesto, bajo la supervisión del Supervisor de Producción, es responsable de la ensambladura de componentes según requisitos específicos para cumplir con los pedidos de los clientes.
- Cortar diversos componentes del kit en la cortadora Polar y limpiar la cuchilla de la cortadora diariamente.
- Ensamblar etiquetas, discos y componentes según los requisitos específicos por pedido.
- Realizar operaciones de ejecución y clasificación a través de la alimentación automática de componentes.
- Aplicar las etiquetas de cliente apropiadas en todos los componentes relacionados.
- Responsable de realizar otras tareas de clasificación igual o menor independientemente del cambio requerido en el departamento, horas (incluyendo horas extras obligatorias) o condiciones de trabajo según lo indicado por el supervisor, como funciones para apoyar las operaciones de encuadernación.
- Mantener áreas de trabajo seguras, limpias y organizadas.
- Entrenamiento cruzado y sustitución de tareas que pueden ser de clasificación superior según lo requiera la supervisión.
- Diploma de secundaria o equivalente.
- Capacidad para leer y escribir y seguir instrucciones escritas y verbales.
- Buena coordinación mano-ojo, buena destreza manual y capacidad para realizar tareas repetitivas con manos y brazos.
- Buenas habilidades informáticas.
- Flexibilidad para tomar decisiones adecuadas sobre la seguridad en el manejo de materiales y responder a un entorno de trabajo cambiante.
- Capacidad para trabajar/comunicar de manera efectiva y respetuosa con compañeros y adherirse a las reglas, políticas y estándares de conducta de Brodart.
- Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno de producción que puede estar sujeto a temperaturas variadas y otras condiciones, como ruido (conveyor), polvo y adhesivos.
- Capacidad para estar de pie/caminar durante turnos de 10 horas y levantar frecuentemente 40 lbs y hasta 70 lbs ocasionalmente, así como empujar carros de libros que pesan varios cientos de libras.
- Este puesto está sujeto a horas extras programadas que pueden ser requeridas según las necesidades de producción.
