Job Overview
As a Component Assembly Specialist at Brodart, you will play a crucial role in the production process by assembling various components according to precise specifications to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components and labels with attention to detail to fulfill specific customer orders.
  • Utilize cutting equipment to prepare kit components and ensure the cleanliness of tools.
  • Conduct run and sort operations using automated assembly processes.
  • Apply customer-specific labels accurately on all assembled components.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace at all times.
  • Participate in cross-training and be flexible in taking on tasks of varying classifications as directed by supervision.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity are essential for performing repetitive tasks.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Must demonstrate sound judgment regarding safety in material handling and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work respectfully with colleagues are vital.

Physical Requirements
Applicants must be capable of working in a production environment with varying temperatures and conditions, including noise and dust. The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, with the ability to frequently bend and lift weights of 40 lbs and occasionally up to 70 lbs. Additionally, pushing heavy book trucks may be necessary.

Work Schedule
