We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician 2nd Shift to join our team at Stellant Systems. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing brazing operations, documenting work, and ensuring the quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Brazing Operations: Perform brazing operations defined on furnace tickets, ensuring high-quality results and meeting production standards.
- Documentation: Document work into computer systems, log sheets, and furnace tickets, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Load and unload furnaces, inspect equipment, and perform safety inspections on hoists to ensure a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Visually inspect furnaces, check for hydrogen leaks, and perform periodic temperature checks using analytical devices.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to identify and implement corrective actions related to brazing operations, ensuring continuous improvement and quality enhancement.
- Self-Improvement: Identify areas for improving own work, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and ensure 100% barcode accuracy.
- Communication: Coordinate with previous and next shifts on status of in-process activities, ensuring seamless production flow.
- Education: High School Diploma required.
- Experience: Prior experience with heat treatments preferred.
- Skills: Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity, able to perform mathematical calculations.
