Key Responsibilities:
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a neonatologist to enhance its practice at Golisano Children's Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida.

The NICU Features:
- Advanced facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU
- The health system encompasses two facilities with approximately 7,000 deliveries annually
- Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service
- Primary duties include attending coverage at our Level-III NICU
- Comprehensive subspecialty services available (excluding cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage
- In-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage
- Level-I coverage includes well-baby care and backup coverage from home
- Collaborative team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs
- Emphasis on a team-oriented approach to care, within a developmentally sensitive and family-centered environment
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
- Robust quality improvement initiatives and opportunities for clinical research, if desired

Golisano Children's Hospital is part of Lee Health and serves as the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. This stand-alone 135-bed, 7-story facility opened in 2017 and is home to southwest Florida's only state-designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Unit. It has been recognized as a top children's hospital by the Leapfrog Group multiple times, among various other accolades.
