Medical Laboratory Technician Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Part-Time Faculty, Medical Laboratory Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and passion for medical laboratory technology with our students.
As a Part-Time Faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality classroom instruction in lecture, clinical, and/or laboratory format. You will select and utilize a variety of approved course materials and teaching methods to ensure that the needs of individual students in the program are met.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science and current ASCP-BOC U.S. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist. Three years of clinical experience is also required. A Master's Degree in Medical Technology, Health Sciences, Education, or a related field is preferred.

Major Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture, clinical, and/or laboratory format.
- Assess student learning using appropriate methods.
- Conduct an engaging classroom lecture and/or lab based on the course outline.
- Motivate students by demonstrating sensitivity for concerns and actively involving students in classroom discussions and/or activities.
- Make arrangements for equipment and supplies, or other activities as needed.
- Complete all course assessments as required.
- Use technology to enhance the teaching/learning in the classroom.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science.
- Current ASCP-BOC U.S. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist.
- Three years clinical experience.
Preferred Qualification:
- Master's Degree in Medical Technology, Health Sciences, Education, or a related field.
