Job Title: Laboratory Associate IHC

About the Role:

Discovery Life Sciences LLC is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Associate IHC to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing immunohistochemical staining of tissue samples, collaborating closely with project managers to ensure project objectives are met efficiently, and utilizing and maintaining general laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform immunohistochemical staining of tissue samples with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Utilize and maintain general laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, pipettes, and more.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and project managers.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment that values open and honest communication, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher in Life Sciences or a related field.
  • Familiarity with general laboratory equipment and immunohistochemistry techniques.
  • Experience in immunohistochemistry (IHC) is preferred but not required.
  • Background or coursework in Pathology/Histology is a plus.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to maintain organized records.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Location and Work Hours:

This position is based at our Newtown, PA office and requires a Monday-Friday work schedule.
