We are seeking a dedicated Merchandise Allocator to join our dynamic Merchandise Planning and Allocation team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initial Product Allocation:
    • Distribute initial stock for new products to retail locations that align with defined launch objectives.
    • Collaborate with planning and merchandising teams.
    • Utilize projected sales data and insights on store performance to assign volume grades for each item.
    • Assess inventory requirements to support three weeks of individual store sales.
    • Examine store merchandise systems to confirm that all products dispatched have been received.
  • Store Inventory Replenishment:
    • Restock individual store inventory levels based on system recommendations.
    • Analyze reports to identify and address outliers.
    • Make necessary adjustments as required.
  • Inventory Level Management:
    • Ensure appropriate inventory levels are allocated by category.
  • Shipment Tracking:
    • Oversee communication regarding inventory and replenishment to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in retail allocation and/or replenishment.
  • Proficiency in Aptos Allocation & Replenishment systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong mathematical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three years of experience in retail allocation and/or replenishment.
  • Familiarity with Aptos allocation and replenishment systems.
  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Accurately allocating and balancing inventory by store, style, and merchandise category.
  • Utilizing projected sales data and trends to assign volume grades for items.
  • Making informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Building effective partnerships with planners, merchants, and field leaders to understand store requirements.
  • Communicating effectively with warehouse and store teams, as well as other partners.
  • Exercising sound judgment in escalating issues when necessary.
  • Leveraging technology to fulfill inventory needs.
  • Gathering stakeholder feedback.
