Position Overview
As a Sales Specialist, you will be the primary contact for Coca-Cola with our customers, responsible for nurturing customer relationships and managing accounts within your designated territory. Your main objective will be to enhance sales and increase the volume of Coca-Cola and its affiliated brands by establishing and maintaining strong customer connections while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a professional representative of CCBCHC to all assigned accounts and potential customers.
- Conduct and finalize all sales interactions for your designated sales route.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure compliance with CCBCHC merchandising standards during sales visits.
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with all accounts by providing relevant sales data and conducting periodic business reviews.
- Communicate account activities and updates to relevant parties within CCBCHC.
- Transport and maintain Point of Sale advertising materials as necessary.
- Collaborate with merchandisers to ensure high-quality customer service.
- Uphold the appearance and quality of all CCBCHC products and equipment in assigned accounts.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide insights on market trends.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication abilities to interact with all levels of management and sales personnel.
- Capability to manage multiple customer accounts effectively.
- Attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- The ability to obtain a Class A CDL.
- Business acumen and the ability to understand market dynamics.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for a four-year college degree. Previous sales experience, particularly in the food and beverage sector, is advantageous. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic math skills are essential for success in this role.
Physical Requirements
This position requires physical activity, including lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods. Candidates must be able to lift and carry over 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks as needed.
Work Environment
The role involves working in both office and field environments, with occasional travel required. Candidates should be prepared for a moderately noisy atmosphere due to operational equipment.
