Job Title: Patient Food Services Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Food Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting in Burlington, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement patient food services strategies based on medical direction and patient population needs
  • Recruit, train, and develop patient service team members to ensure exceptional patient satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and special diets to meet patient preferences
  • Collaborate with patient services staff to achieve patient satisfaction goals
  • Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to patient rights policies
  • Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Associate degree with one year of work experience in food services or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in food service technology/management or a related field
  • Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian, preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience in food service management in an acute care setting, preferred
  • ServSafe certification, desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems
